In House Training: Learning and Assessment for Elementary School Teachers

Abstract


The results of the education report card analysis show that the quality of learning has not reached a minimum score of 70%. The service aims to carry out in-house training on learning and assessment. Service methods include preparation, empowerment, and mentoring. The service was held at SDN Kencong 01 Jember on December 28, 2023. The number of participants was 28 people from 28 elementary schools in Kencong District. Participants must be at least 27 years old, a maximum of 42 years old, an average of 33.7 years old, a minimum work period of 2 years, a maximum of 20 years, and an average of 10.5 years. All participants were married and lived in rural areas. The distance from home to school is a minimum of 0.1 km, a maximum of 14 km, and an average of 3.6 km. Devotion can increase teacher knowledge in learning and assessment with an average increase of 32.3 points (mean pre-test 50 and post-test 82.3). An NGain value of 62% means that the effectiveness of IHT is in the medium category. The results of the IHT implementation evaluation show that the majority of participants gave very good assessments and were very satisfied.
